Verizon has recently made some changes to their plans, the prices in all the plans have increased but so has the data. The S plan has been increased by $5, it will cost $35 per month for the S plan. The data has also been increased it’s now 2GB that’s twice the amount of data than they offered before.

The M plan has been increased by $5 as well, it’s now $50 per month and the data has risen from 3GB to 4GB. The L plan has been increased by $10, it’s now $70 per month and the data has been increased from 6GB to 8GB.

There’s A Standard Plan And A Premium Plan On The Verizon Unlimited Data Plans:

Once you exceed 3 lines with the unlimited plans it will cost $40 for each additional line. For people who don’t mind spending a little more money for better service, there’s a premium service available on the unlimited plans it will cost an additional $10 per month.

In the past, Verizon has lost customers to some of the other major service providers such as Sprint and T-Mobile because they have plans which are similar to Verizon’s new plans.

These changes have been made in an effort to entice the customers that they have lost to come back and to gain some new customers as well.

With the introduction of these new plans, Verizon has also introduced a new My Verizon app which will give you the ability to control different features in your plan.

With this new app, you will be able to control Safety Mode, you will have the ability to turn it off and on at any time. Safety Mode is a new Verizon feature which was implemented to prevent you from paying overage fees.

The Unlimited Data Plans Are Not Unlimited:

If you exceed 22GB of data for any given month you will no longer be charged an overage fee. However, your connection will be slower during times of congestion for the rest of the billing cycle.

The Verizon Carry Over Data Is Great:

Verizon has also added carry over data, this gives you the ability to carry over unused data from one month until the end of the next month. And with the use of the My Verizon app, you will have the ability to see exactly how much data you are carrying over from one month to the other.

Existing Verizon customers who have two-year contracts will not be forced into these new plans. They will get to choose whether they want to keep their original plan or change to a new one.

With these plans, there are no credit checks required, no activation fee, and absolutely no strings attached. You will have the ability to get the device you want with no annual contract. You will get free next day shipping on all devices you purchase.

With these plans, you will have unlimited texting to anyone in the U.S. regardless of what network they are on, and also with participating carriers in Canada and Mexico.

You also have the ability to carry over data on the prepaid plans. However, you must pay your bill on time if you would like to carry over data from one month to the next.

What Happens If You Exceed Your Data Allowance?

If you exceed the data allowance on a prepaid plan your data speeds will be reduced to 128 kbps for the rest of the month. This may have a direct impact on the quality of an audio and video stream.

If you’re thinking about switching to Verizon, hopefully, one of these plans will suit your needs.
