In this brief blog post, I will thoroughly explain how to use a phone as a hotspot. This is something that will come in handy from time to time.
Why Would Someone Want To Use A Phone As A Hotspot?
If you find yourself in a situation where you need a Wi-Fi connection, but you don’t have one, you can get some help from your smartphone.
If you set up a Wi-Fi hotspot, you can transform your phone into a wireless internet router that can provide internet that can be used by other phones, tablets, and laptops.
However, your ability to create Wi-Fi hotspots will vary depending on your data allowance and your service plan.
You must be aware that tethering consumes data and battery life. If you plan on using hotspot mode regularly and you don’t have a phone with amazing battery life, you should consider getting a battery case for your phone.
If you need to stay connected for extended periods of time you should consider using a dedicated Wi-Fi hotspot.
