If you like Android phones the Android smartphone industry is in a great place right now the competition among the top manufacturers is stiff.
Every Android smartphone manufacturer is trying to push the envelope a little further with the release of every phone. They’re trying to add more features and functionalities and to be more innovative than the competition.
Each year the consumer receives some new features and functionalities on Android phones that they never thought they would have on a phone. New features, better cameras, better display screens, and better processors which make the phones work more efficiently.
With all this new technology it can be difficult for the consumer to determine what are the best Android phones on the market. In this blog post, I will list a few of the best Android phones and I will tell you why I think these phones are among the best.
Google Pixel 2
In a relatively short period of time, the Google Pixel line of smartphones has risen to the top of the smartphone industry. The Google Pixel 2 provides a clean Android experience.
All the pre-installed apps that you don’t need which you will typically find on other Android phones, you will not find them on the Pixel 2. As a result of this, the Pixel 2 is extremely fast and responsive.
The Pixel 2 has a 5.0in full HD display screen that’s 1920 x 1080 pixels with an aspect ratio of 16:9. This display screen is slightly smaller than the 5.5in display screen that we’ve seen on many of the other smartphones in recent years.
The picture quality on the Pixel 2 isn’t bad. However, it’s not the best, if you hold the Pixel 2 next to another phone that has a 2k display screen such as the Galaxy S8. You will notice the difference in the picture quality.
The main selling point for the Pixel 2 is the camera. The primary camera on this phone is a 12.2MP camera with a f/1.8 aperture there’s nothing special about this. However, what makes the difference is the fact that this camera uses laser-assisted autofocus, dual-pixel phase-detection along with electronic optical image stabilization.
The end result is a camera that takes amazing photos, whether taking photos in a well-lit setting or a darker setting. The photos are absolutely amazing, the Pixel 2 is second to none.
The Pixel 2 has the best camera that you will find on a smartphone. If you’re looking for an extremely fast and responsive phone that takes amazing pictures, you should consider getting the Pixel 2.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8
Samsung had lots of problems with the Galaxy Note 7. This led to the recall of the phone, not once but twice and it was eventually removed from stores when Samsung realized that they could not fix the problem.
Many smartphone users who heard about the problems or experienced it first hand had lost confidence in Samsung smartphones. So the Galaxy Note 8 came at a critical time for the company. Samsung knew they had to do a great job with the Galaxy Note 8 to regain the trust of the general public and they did not disappoint us.
The Galaxy Note 8 is a great phone with thin bezels and an attractive display screen. The display screen is made of Corning Gorilla Glass 5.0 this glass is supposed to be an extremely durable.
The display screen is a 6.3-inch display screen with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio, this is a large phone. The Galaxy Note 8 has a metal chassis but it’s made primarily of glass.
This phone is IP68-certified, this means that the phone along with the S Pen can be submerged in 1.5 meters of freshwater for up to 30 mins without having any adverse effects on the phone.
The Galaxy Note 8 comes with an LED flash, a fingerprint scanner, an iris scanner, and a heart-rate monitor. This is a great phone with lots of features and functionalities.
The only drawback to this phone is that fact that it’s a bit large and it’s expensive. However, if you don’t mind the size of the phone or the hefty price tag you should consider getting this phone. Please read my full in-depth review of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 to learn more.
